Alyza is all grown up. Last time I check she was just a baby, now she’s in 2nd grade.

I went to attend my cousin’s funeral last week. Shit was weird seeing him inside the casket. Dude just turn 21 and died the day after going to work… Sad Day.

Aki (blacktrax performance) has been working on his 300ZX LS1 for hours of hours after work trying to get it running right. I got some sticker for the car getting it ready for Vegas Nightshift.

It finally started and was ready to go!

Then we notice some water leak. After working on it for a few more hours until 4AM, it was no dice.

Let me just say thanks to Aki, Nat, and Jei from Blacktrax for there tremendous help, Aki lend me his BRAND NEW TURBO DIESEL TRUCK to tow for Vegas. The thing only had 10K miles! I have no idea what I have done for these guys but they’ve been really helpful every time I / we need something. Need Dyno? Done! Need the shop to swap a motor? Done! Need a trailer? DONE! These guys have given me tons of hand! It’s hard to cup cake for a shop but the guys at BP does great jobs on swaps. They have a waiting list for about 2-3 months just so people can bring their cars to get some work done! They already have a few magazine cover. If that doesn’t speak for itself, I don’t know what does. (you all going to hate us but once again, they did us a favor. We just pushed in Barry’s SC400 to get a motor swap last night and i hope you’re not on the waiting list)

Since Aki’s monster LS1 couldn’t make it we load in Party Peter’s G Ride!

After taking an hour nap, we finally hit the road, 10 HOUR DRIVE HERE WE COME! We met up with Jay Pizo, but fucker took longer than my girl getting ready. Probably cup caking so we didn’t get to leave until 10AM. Here he is debuting his new ride! The color is meh, I think it’s too dark but props to Jay for going outside the box and not building another ‘typical’ drift car.

Peter and Jay was doing an alignment on the car the night before for about 6-7 hours. I think they were doing more than aligning shit, if you know what I mean. I guess they were tired and curb a rim. LOL

Theres only two things that Barry does when we travel, Sleeping and Cup Caking.

After driving for hours of hours on the lonely fucking desert, we needed to take a pissed but there was no stop at all. I love being a man, take pissed anywhere unless another man pushes you to the pokey pokey bushes…

Bored of driving for hours of hours.

I’m tired and lazy right now. So instead of telling you whats behind the fotos, I’ll let them speak for itself.

The last post was pretty much all negativity so on this post, I will try my best to be positive. An old friend of mine Daniel came out to take some fotos of the event, he runs a photography website. It make sense to used all his fotos since I was using his camera to take fotos also but most of it was him shooting.

We went out the night before so I was tired, so glad Peter and Albert left early since we had a lot of issues just trying to get my guys in. Peter already change all the rims with some new Dunlop Tires.

Everyone was just hanging out at the pit waiting for the go ahead.

I’ve used tons of tires in the Past, Falken, Yokohama, Advan, Etc… Most of them chunks or not very durable. I hate to be whore but I’ve used about 4 tires for 6 hours of drifting. If you see the foto below, its not chunking and it was consistent even tho it was down to the cord, well almost. I’m really happy with Direzza’s and you should try it out.

We were finally got the go ahead from Justin to start drifting. I needed to warm up the tires first. Thats enough.

Mark Fatlace was there for a bit but he had to run so Jay took over for the rest of the night.

This week, I probably saw 10-20 cops on every corner of San Jose. Must be a low on their quota.

Went out with the homies and had dinner at Banana Leaf at Milpitas. Hit up SF and Daniel hook us up to get in.

HIN just reminded me how much I hated car shows. The people. The cars. The Vibe. Everything about the event sucks except the drifting part, not because I was driving but because of who and the kind of people that are doing it. The people that works up front has some people problems. I don’t know how sponsors and vendors can be happy with this event, as simple as getting in the event is a fucking headache. How and what do they expect from 10 drivers to do their own work and not getting our pit crew in? Do they really expect as drivers to pay for our own pit crews?

FYI car show organizer, expect at least 2 pit crews to come with the drivers. We actually work and fix cars if things happen not stand around all night looking at ugly cars, ugly models trying to shake their flat ass. I gotta give it up to Babe Blvd booth, they had decent girls in there but it still doesn’t change the fact that 99.9% of the girls are busted and 99.9% of the cars are horrible.

We had a drifter groupie hanging out with us also, she was annoying. Mark was also there to hang out and drive for a bit. Jay Pizo was late since he had to attend a wedding, that’s dedication. Thanks to my boys, My brother, Party Peter for letting me drive his car, and Barry Baller for helping me out at the event. Actually Barry was somewhere cup caking with some groupie all night.

And great thank you to all my supporter, Jeff Alcairo (AG Studios) for printing the shirts in such a short time at 3AM on Friday! Andrew Bohan (Laboratory 17) for coming out and helping me out with the stickers. The guys over at Blacktrax Performance, EIP Racing for painting the car, Tech 3 Performance and to Justin from Dunlop Tires for giving me the opportunity to drive. See you guys at Vegas and hoping this one is not too much of a headache but expect for lots of debauchery.
