Fatlace - The Reception

I apologized ahead of time if I don’t make any sense… We had two days drifting event this weekend at BW and I’m dead tired. And working. and Finalizing shit but more of that later on this week.

I know I wasn’t going to make it for the opening so Mark had a reception for friends and family the day before the opening. I had to be at Buttonwillow raceway for the very first DriftxBattle BW event. I had events there with Erik Waher (my old partner) but we parted apart because I was too busy doing Formula D events and he was busy getting paid with real money with Speedventures. Enough of that and lets move on with the Fatlace Opening.

I wasn’t going to roll through the opening without the making a ruckus. Amrafel, Robby and I meet up at their work place to ride together to Fatlace HQ. I wasn’t about to ride my Ruckus to SF, that will take me 3 hours so instead, I threw that shit on the back of the truck. Way easier.

We had a reserve parking right up front.

Right when I came in, I saw DJ Phil in the back spinning! and check out that fixie in the back… Ill be copping that soon. very. soon.

More scooter rolling through. This is a pretty cute scooter, I think its called a faggot or peugot.

When you start this thing, you have to pedal fast but he had issues and it didn’t start. LOL Ill stick to push button start on my Ruckus. VROOM.

There was an iPhone meet there also. Showing each other what their phone looks like, oh wait they’re the same phone.

Mark and his daughter Brooklyn and is Mark drinking? whoa! It’s ok since it’s a special day.

And it isn’t an SF get together without fixies coming through. A few head from Huf SF came out, Mega and Benny Gold was also visiting. A few heads from FTC came out also. I think Mark just doesn’t realize how many people he knows… This guy is huge in the street wear game but he doesn’t think so. Super humble dude so make sure to check out his shop and if you catch him there it’s your lucky day since this dude is one busy mofo.

Barry also came through after work. Barry and mister Geoff from JDM Theory. He’s also part of Fatlace store.

I needed to get going and couldn’t stay too long since I had to be at Buttonwillow the next morning for our event. So Afro and I head out back to his work to load my shit.

Make sure to check out Fatlace HQ, it’s outside Japan Town at Post street. If you have no idea where this is, you are definitely not from the bay. The store details is just dope you really have to appreciate the Fatlace team have done to it.
