HIN x DUNLOP DEMO PART DOS

Rise and shine at 7AM and demo doesn’t start until 4PM. We just needed to make sure to be there on time. While Formula D had their Round 3 at Summit Point, we had drifting demo here in CA.

Breakfast and Jay was being emo. Actually he was getting ready since there was some african american men looking at his car outside. He was ready to say hello to them, just incase.

Nice young educated kids.

There was also some retired folks giving Jay some props. They know Taka and the Club4ag team since they used to do auto-x together. They were really digging Jay’s car and thinking of doing a drift car.

Next stop was Speed Alliance / Vertex USA in San Diego to pick up Jay’s limited edition Vertex 10th year anniversary steering wheel and some other stuff. Jay is fully sponsored by Vertex so they gave him a special steering wheel that only about 10 people has in the world.

BOOYAH! I’m not a fan of deep corn steering wheel but I’m digging this color! I may have to steal this shit from Jay.

Finally we arrived.

Lets Drifting! for two runs.

Cyrus and Colin Frost was having a hard time taking off their car on the trailer. Something about those cheap-o wheels. Colin and Cyrus are both sponsored by Modiride USA, the owner is really fucking cool. Let’s save that for later.

Meet Wesuri (wesuri still uses xanga to blog lol), another dunlop demo driver. Doing last minute things, changing oil and stuff. Wes and I both did Formula D last year but we both got fuck by sponsors so we’re just chillen and having fun.

This is Takahiro and his wife. They just had a baby girl a couple of months ago. Hiro was living in the bay area but wanted to be near to drifting stuff so he move to socal and now is driving for Megan Racing.

Check this out, Justine was changing his axle since he fuck it up. Homeboy didn’t secure the jackstand and after 5 seconds taking this pic, the fucking car fell on him. Lucky the way he is under the car the rotor just missed him by and inch. We had about 10 people lift the car up in 3 seconds. Like Literally picking up the car. His girl was about to get a heart attack. He’s ok and he wasn’t hurt at all.

Kent and Dom from Endless USA / AME wheels came down and brought some driftunit hypy tee’s for us. Let me just take some time to intro you guys if you guys do not know who Kent and Dom are. It’s really great that there’s still fans out there that appreciates drifting even just a demo event.

Our MC of the day was Ernie Mansala the creative/director of NOS Drinks… Alright, Ernie is such a cool dude, I’m not hating at all but Ernie dude, your SC is a mess! You need to take most of the stickers off and clean it up a bit. I bet it would look dope if its cleaner! Just saying nig!

My boy Tohru came down just to chill and the short little girl is Kat, also a drifter. She’s really good and prolly better than a lot of guys out there. Everyone was asking where they can buy those drift unit hyphy tee’s!

Jay’s car was hard parking for the rest of the night since he broke something. Sucks but oh well.

Since we were pretty bored, homeboy from Crush TV had a camera so we wanted to fuck around and interterview random people.

Some of our random question was…
“How does it feel that when guys go home and they whack off of your pics?”
“Your titties are little too small to be a model, it needs to be atleast a B, C, or D”
Most of them laugh and had a blank stare.

Lance was too nice so Jay and I took over.

After the show, we drop off the car at Jay’s San Diego pad and hit up Friday’s for some dinner. We were late so once we got there everyone was already done eating.

I kept my last week bday in the low, I mean I change my myspace date that no one would get the notification, I didn’t tell anyone that there’s no party, I did my best that it doesn’t leak.

Then all of a sudden, I see these retarded fucking friday employee’s bringing me a damn cake.

Colin found out somehow then leak it out to Chris owner of Modiride USA and told everyone so they set me up. Bastard. Chris is the coolest old man ever! cause he can hang with us young kids.
